"64% of software vendors have a license compliance team and are actively pursuing non-compliant organisations" (Source: KPMG)
Increasingly software vendors are invoking the audit clauses within their contracts and licence agreements in order to audit and review an organisations compliance position. This not only brings the risk of intrusive audit, but also adds pressure on already stretched resources and budgets.
ComplianceConsole has been developed to support rapid compliance requirements. With the ability to import vendor licence statements e.g. Microsoft’s Licence Statement, or bulk license imports from other sources, and then match against an organisations software inventory reports, it now possible to establish a compliance position for the majority of vendors in a fraction of the time and cost.
Concorde specialists are also available to work with you on more complex licensing frameworks to deliver a compliance position for vendors long considered too challenging for companies to tackle. Recently, working in a large telecoms provider, Concorde IBM licensing specialists were able to reduce the telecom’s IBM license exposure by £6m (Approx $9.6m). Without the information or knowledge of how the licensing models work, they would have paid the higher figure.
An established compliance position is the natural start point for on-going software asset management.
Concorde were the only organisation that understood our issues and didn't try to just sell us another software tool.
